Photography has been a hobby of mine since I was about 13. I started off working in the darkroom as part of the photography club and later worked as a yearbook photographer.
I have a particular interest in black & white, architecture and more recently portraits. The prints of the black & white photographs found in these albums were hand-developed. Some have been given as wedding gifts.
My first proper camera was a Praktica and was a gift from my parents. My father had an earlier model. It took wonderful photos and lasted me a large number of years. I later owned a Minolta (cannot remember the model) and more recently I finally succumbed to digital; opting to use a digital SLR (Canon EOS). My favourite lens is the EF 70-200mm f/2.8L IS II USM Lens. I will admit that I am still partial to the 50mm fixed focal length lens.
